Mass for the Ordinariate Jubilee Year


On November 3rd, we will have a Votive Mass for the Holy Spirit with a solemn Te Deum at 3:00 PM. This is the beginning of a Jubilee Year for the Anniversary of the Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus that led to the founding of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter and our own parish. The Holy See has granted a Plenary Indulgence for attendance at our mass and singing of the Te Deum this Sunday, with the usual conditions.

  • Do the work while in a state of grace,

  • Receive Sacramental confession within 20 days of the work

  • Receive Eucharistic communion

  • Pray for the pope’s intentions (Our Father and Hail Mary, or other appropriate prayer, is sufficient),

  • Have no attachment to sin – i.e., it is sufficient that the Christian makes an act of the will to love God and despise sin.
