About our Church
Our Lady and St. John is a Roman Catholic Church of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter. The Ordinariate was established in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI in order to preserve elements of the Anglican tradition within the Catholic Church. Mass is celebrated using Divine Worship, the Vatican-promulgated Missal for the Ordinariate. The Ordinariate is an ecumenical outreach of the Church, following the call of our Lord’s prayer in John 17, “that we all may be one.”
We began in Lent of 2016 as a community of Christians gathering at Fr. Erdman’s home for worship, mutual support, and friendship. This diverse group included both former lifelong Episcopalians and those who were Baptists, Lutherans, and Presbyterians. We now gather for regular prayer, study, discussion, and fellowship. Or Mass is at St. Martin of Tours and each Sunday at 3 p.m. we gather for Mass, Prayer, fellowship, and formation. We hope you will consider joining us. We look forward to welcoming you!
